The error is happening when calibre tries to write the sony's database. I have seen similar errors in other situations when the file being written exceeds some magic microsoft-determined size.
Questions:
1) What version of windows are you running?
2) How many books do you have on your reader?
3) Do you have lots of collections?
4) Do the collections contain many books?
