>> ... Can I assume that the VW (Verizon Wireless, not VolksWagen) is a Droid?

No, you may not (grin). The Verizon Wireless MiFi 2200 is a small wi-fi "hot spot," allowing owners to connect up to five devices to their system.

>> ... How do you run a presentation on a projector from it?

I connect my MacBook Pro to the WiFi network. I connect my iPod touch to the WiFi network. And run the presentation with a free Apple presentation program from iTunes. The program on my touch allows a "dual screen" mode - where it shows the current screen, plus the next screen. A swipe of a finger on the touch advances the presentation.

>> ... I would need to find out the IP number for the projector, right?

My Hitachi CP-X2 projector connects painlessly to my system ... I do not remember any hassles getting them all connected.
