I thought Ender's Game was great, though some time after I read it I found another one in the series - one that had been written later, but was supposed to fit after the first book, and had something to do with the last chapter of Ender's Game. I don't know which one it was, but it turned me off the whole series.
After having a look at this thread, I might try again, and follow dwanthny's order. Ender's Shadow sounds interesting.
