Your questions only represent the past but not the future. For example I once had been a Sony fanatic but in recent times I have been more and more disappointed with Sony.
- Root kits on CDs
- Sony Ericsson P990i support dropped with a 100 outstanding bugs (Network providers are satisfied — who cares about users).
- Sony Ericsson P990i top-notch-phone delivered with minimum required memory (do I have to explain what that means?)
- PRS-505 marketing promises to store thousands of books but in true live the system becomes unbearable slow beyond 200 or so books.
- PRS-505 marketing promises an MP3 player but in real live the Software can't handle more then a hand full of Albums.
- OS update for Android phones has been moved to October. And will only be an update from 1.6 to 2.1 while my Nexus-One got 2.2.1 yesterday.
Currently I have an Sony reader because it was available but the times where Sony was my preferred supplier are over. Nowadays buy Sony if there is no viable alternative.
