Personally I'm happy to see them posted here (particularly if the poster has read them and are not promoting their own/friends/family members/pet budgie's book).
And I know a few established authors who are considering self publishing their back catalogue because they are out-of-print and they have the rights to do so because their contracts were drawn up before ebooks became a serious consideration.
It's going to be increasingly hard to tell the difference in the future. But I understand Koland's POV in wanting to keep what could be a tidal wave of "discounted" self-published stuff that no-one would ever want to read out of here though. Anyhow I'm off for a quiet game of Scrabble.
