Has anyone tried getting the browser on the Kindle 3 to read a local website?
On my old Kindle 2 I had a folder of HTML files at the root of the kindle that I could easily access via a bookmark to:
file:///mnt/us/myfolder/index.html
(as detailed in
this thread)
...but on the K3 the browser now complains about the "file:///" and says only http and https are supported. Uh-oh.
Does anybody know how to get the previous functionality back again?
