I'm on day 3 of using the basic black Amazon lighted cover for my K3. I don't have to worry about the kiddies getting goop on my stuff anymore (they're teenagers and are busy gooping up their own electronics) but I did worry about protecting my newest toy in my briefcase.

Instead of waiting for alternate covers to arrive in the local stores or for something purchased online to arrive, I went back to Target first thing the next morning after buying my Kindle and bought the lighted cover. The price is outrageous but it seems to be fairly high quality.

It's practical/functional, doesn't add much bulk, and has an understated look that I like. We'll see how durable it is once I get used to carrying it everywhere rather than doing most of my reading on my phone.
