Being a reasonably attractive female, if I'm alone in a hotel bar, I'm constantly interrupted no matter what I'm doing. It's pick-up central, even in higher-end hotels, and especially at conferences. I avoid the bar for that reason.

Be glad you only get interrupted when you have an ereader in hand!
