pvdv tricked me into it
About two years ago I saw the first ereader in real life. It was a Cybook Gen3, owner: pvdv, also a member here. Very nice, but also, very expensive.
Just recently I got an itch to buy an ereader also, now many readers are less then € 200,00 and quite affordable.
So, I apt-got Calibre. And imported my books in my native language, Dutch, and some are in English. Cleaning up titles and stuff in Calibre made the zomg-must-buy-soon-e-reader-or-die-mentally to strong to handle.
I found a cheap new € 110,00 Netronix-clone (foxit eSlick) on eBay and ordered yesterday. Have to wait a few days but can't wait.
According to several other sites mobileread.com is the pit where al enthousiasts gather. So here I am. Another enthousiast.
First read on the device is going to be the Dark Tower-series by King. The best bookexperience I ever had was reading Cryptonomicon by Stephenson. I also worship Pratchett and all Discworld-novels.
