Sigh!!

I wish my local library had e.books. It doesn't. In fact, it seems very few libraries here in Australia have gone down that route yet, perhaps because there aren't many e.readers yet on our market. Yeah, you can buy a Kindle, and now a Kobo, but none of the Sonys, and licensing deals for e.books in the OZ market have a fair way yet to go to match North America or Europe.

My local head librarian quite bluntly told me to go away and stop asking, because e.books aren't something she's interested in considering.

Bummer.
