i read elsewhere that most kindle titles can be downloaded up to 6 times.

do amazon actually count downloads or do they count devices i.e. if I add a book to my kindle, delete it, add it again, is that 2 downloads used up ?, or does it only count as 1 because it's the same device ID both times ?

if I add the same book to my kindle for PC app, registered to same Amazon account, is that another download used up ?
