You're probably still hitting the spam filter -- it seems to "like" some posters more than others, but it should back off when you hit 10 posts. I believe that it's more likely to tag posts that have URLs in them too.

The delay you're seeing is the system waiting for one of the editors to approve the post, we approve them when we see them, but sometimes it takes a while for one of us to happen along.

The upside of all this, is that the forum is largely free of spam, as the filters are really good at catching it.


I'd also recommend Weber (unreservedly), Ringo (with reservations on some books), and toss in Lambshead. I just finished his Lucy's Blade, which is the only thing of his I've read, but I found it quite good. Also Dykstra's War by Jeff Kooistra (I probably misspelled both of those) was quite good.
