People really need to let go of the "book" analogy and accept that you can read something that isn't a book. Books only had two 'panels' because printing double-sided was the easiest way to cut the thickness of a book in half. Most electronic reading devices are already quite a bit thinner than a book, and by making it double-screen you actually double to thickness of the closed book - something I'd rather not have.
