Hello everyone,

I've become interested in ebooks recently, though I have yet to buy an ereader. For the time being, I'm limited to reading on my PC.

I have been learning the particulars of converting between formats and getting familiar with Calibre, which seems to be the be-all-end-all of what I'll ever need for conversion.

When I finally do purchase an ereader, I'll be looking for something which puts control in my hands and doesn't remotely inventory my library or monitor my habits; either through the device or the accompanying software.

With all that aside, I'm looking forward to more lurking here, as so far it's been a goldmine of information.
