I came here to find out about the ol' change-the-screensaver-on-your-Kindle business, and found a few other interesting threads.

I've got a Kindle 2 and a Sony PRS-505, and my wife has a PRS-600.

To begin with I preferred the Sony, but just lately I'm leaning more towards the Kindle - Amazon's book prices have come down quite a bit, plus the ability to easily read the books on my iPhone and iPad is also quite handy.

I should point out I think the iPad is a terrible device for reading novels, but great for manuals. For example, the Adobe Photoshop CS5 Classroom-in-a-book is much more convenient on my iPad alongside (or under) my monitor than it is as a physical book spread out on the desk.

Anyway, I guess that'll do for an intro!
