Nobody said it was an ultra inconvenience, but battery life is significantly better on the Kindle than the Nook. It might not be important to you, but it was a concern for the original poster.
I'm used to charging my devices periodically, but as mentioned above, it would be nice to not have to think about it. I am still on the fence with a Nook or K3 and battery life is an issue. While it's not always a pain to plug it in, I don't like the idea that when I want to read it will have a low charge. That might not happen that often, but it will most certainly happen more often than it would with a Kindle.
