There's some pretty frivolous things that people get a bee in their bonnet over and try suing people - but I have to say that things like this situation with your daughter are such matters that do need to be tackled aggressively. The coach is in a position of responsibility and care, forcing what he did is unacceptable, he isn't the one who has to live with not walking again, he doesn't have to lie in bed at night wondering if tomorrow he'll be able to get out of bed and walk to the bathroom without enduring exceptional pain.
