Setting aside that there is evidence... belief in something without evidence is
irrational, not necessarily insane. Insanity requires actions. (More substantial actions than "telling people that something exists when it doesn't.")

There is. There is none, apparently, that you find convincing, and that's very reasonable. But there's a difference between "I do not accept anecdotal and personal experiences as persuasive evidence" and "no evidence exists."
Also, in these discussions, it's important to
define your terms when making absolute statements. By "gods," do you mean "all-powerful creators of universes?" Or "disembodied entities who interfere with human society?" Or something else?
Whether or not there is evidence for dragons depends on what you mean by "dragons." I'm quite fond of
dragons and other monitors.
