Has anyone's opinion of atheist zealotry changed over the course of this thread?

Does anyone want to cut Dawkins a bit more slack now it's been demonstrated what he's up against?

I think this has confirmed to me that meeting the arguments head on only leads to conflict. Atheists need to demonstrate quietly by their words and forcefully through their deeds that theirs are reasonable beliefs and that they are not at odds with living by a moral code shared by those of faith.
