OK, I'm embarrassed to say this but I've never read any Robert Rankin and now, looking at some of the information about him on 'Ye Internette' I'm wondering why the hell not! I suspect our aims are not so far apart but to my chagrin, I also suspect he's a lot funnier than I am. Bugger.
