bgD, all I can do is encourage you to follow your instincts-- if it doesn't make sense to you, ask yourself if it might just be because it
doesn't make sense. Not what your pastor tells you, not what your Christian friends and family tell you, not what study guides tell you-- look at the bible yourself and
really ask yourself
does this make sense?

really think about them, then
really think what you believe about the bible.
