Went out today; Best Buy had a display with the Sony readers (old models, not the new ones); a display with the Nook - two units on it, one had a low-battery message on it; and a Kindle display unit with the new Kindle on it, but no Kindles for sale. No Kindle accessories either, from what I could see. The salesperson said they're supposed to be getting Kindles in on October 16.

Went to Target; they had the old Kindle on display, with a shelf of clearance accessories, and old Sonys on display. The sign said the new Kindles were supposed to be in stock in early September, but that was it.

Both of these stores are in Salem, NH.
