Pretty straight ahead guy, Mr Serbinis. Kobo clearly has a plan and, even with modest resources, is moving forward and updating its product (bookstore expansion, ereader firmware enhancements, localised markets, new devices, multi-platform content delivery / management). All this with not nearly the financial clout of B&N, Borders, Amazon, Sony.
Another example is the kobobooks blog. There is a discussion there about a "bill of rights" for e-book users. Both the posting and the comments are worth reading.
