Bookeen and service ?
Bookeen possibly just decided to not hire extra help for the 'pioneer' fase since of course this boom time will soon settle down and you don't want too many people on staff when sales are slower... the fact that they're out of products so soon indicates that they either did not see this coming (unlikely) or they decided to go for the cheapo minimum staff/long delivery approach.
Im also convinced that they knew they were going to be out of devices soon but this was the only way to make their second deadline that said they would be available before November, maybe they can only get a limited amount of eInk devices for their devices ...
Has anyone else emailed them this week ? I did on tuesday and still did not get a reply and it was an important note about something that has to be on my invoice.
I think its one of the Pro's of buying a device from the likes of Sony : you just know that at the very least you'll get some sort of service, with Bookeen I'm not so convinced.
