I think is possible. AFAIK, when somebody gets a library ebook, this ebook comes with an expiration date in its DRM. After this date, the ebook is not accessible, but the file it's still in the ereader memory. Of course this raises the question if the expiration date can be defeated just changing the ereader date (I don't think is that easy). But anyways, since the file is there, I guess DRM can be stripped.
