I am wondering if, when one gets a new Kindle, one should think about filling the Collections before putting any books on it. That is, for the non-Amazonbooks.

What could work: order the books in folders on PC in a category which contents one would like to have in the Collection in Kindle.
Than one folder at a time, using Calibre, I would sent the books to the Kindle--create a Collection--put all these books in it by using the option (menu-add/remove items--menu:add all items on this page). Than move on to import the next folder(=create next Collection )to the Kindle etc.

Obviously this would only work if one hasn't downloaded any books on the Kindle. I guess I should have though about this before downloading any books; it might have saved me some time?
