Well, tried it outside today and it seems to have fixed the problem.

That is really so strange. I guess it makes sense, because I could read outside with 3.00, but upgrading to 3.01 caused the problem. But well, as I said, seems so strange that a software update can change performance outdoors.

And yeah, also seems to fix my problems with the WiFi. Usually I'd have to restart it at least once, sometimes 3 or 4 times to actually connect to WiFi. It would always detect it, just not connect.

Hmmm, well, now that I try it, it suddenly disconnects whenever I try to do anything. Meh, as I have a laptop and PSP (both of which connect no problem) it's not a big deal, I have enough internet related devices for the internet. As long as I can get my books from Amazon via WiFi I don't care about anything else.
