@tdavis74: The one from the first post for your specific Kindle model should do fine.
You *need* the jailbreak to be able to install *AND* uninstall custom hacks, so there's no question as to which one should go first/last. When installing hacks, you always install the jailbreak first, and when uninstalling hacks, you always uninstall the jailbreak last.
The only way you know if your jailbreak is working is when trying to install/uninstall a custom hack. If it fails with a U007 error, then your Kindle isn't properly jailbroken.
