as a kid i used to read a lot. my mom kept on bringing me new stuff and i gobbled it all up.
as a teen i sort of drifted away from literature. i had books to read for school, but other than that, i never read anything. after school, in university, i didn't read either.
then i got my self a PDA. and i heard of ebooks. and i realized i hadn't read the HHGG, which i found pretty easily on the net (shame on me) and i realized that ebook reading is awesome. soon afterwards i took up reading again, and now i can't fall asleep without reading at least a few lines, even if i am totally drunk and it's 5 in the morning (which doesn't happen often, though).
so that makes me consume around 2 books a month, which is 24 books a year.
it's mostly crime and "junk" like that, nothing too thought-invoking. i might try to add a bit more "culture" to my reading list.
