Yes, in fit-to-screen/portrait mode that happens occasionally. I have reported it to amazon, would encourage you to do the same.

In their response they actually claimed that PDF viewing was 'experimental'. Really? A work in progress perhaps but it is certainly not advertised as such. It could be a bug in the Adobe Mobile Reader SDK that Amazon licenses. I'm curious if other licensed devices (Sony, nook) have the same problem with the same PDFs, since they also license AMRSDK, but I don't have one to check.

I think it might be possible to add a line annotation (using Adobe Reader or whatever) that is just below the last line to try to force it to zoom out a little further. Or setting the crop margin just a little lower. I'll come back to this thread when I've had a chance to try this.
