I thought I should do the polite thing and introduce myself. I'm an Aussie woman who is currently spending 3 months in China for business with my partner while my two half grown children are fending for themselves back home (I dread to think what the state of my house will be when I return). My research for an e-reader has led me to these forums. When at home in Queensland, (Australia) I work as a Research Technician throughout the week and weekends see me busy with my small wedding and portrait photography business.
I'm an avid reader, but to my dismay, I can't buy any English books in China - well not where I am anyway - and I've somehow managed to speed read my way through the 17 books I bought with me in the first three weeks.. yes I'm not exactly getting a lot of work done am I..
Anyway I've decided to get an e-reader and have been looking at Sony's new 650 as most reports on it seem to be favourable.
I'm looking forward to browsing through all the forums and getting to know the other members..
