Transatlantic air-mail generally takes 5-7 days; that's from the UK, but I'm sure it's the same from France. Most of the delay is the time it takes stuff to clear US customs.

My "ship date" has been changed to "2 Nov" too, so fingers crossed for tomorrow . If it really is shipped tomorrow it should arrive Monday or Tuesday, if the gods are willing.
