I have had no problems with mine. It holds A LOT of books. Most reasonable people understand that they did a simple calculation to help people understand APPROXIMATELY how many books it holds. It seems your knowledge about false advertising rivals your knowledge of data compression.

I am sure if the goal is to find 3,500 books to fit on the kinlde, it could be done. I, as well as most other people, simply don't want to take all of the time simply to try to prove someone wrong. If you are willing to pay for my time, I will find 3,500 books that will fit on the Kindle, making their statement "up to 3,500 books" completely accurate. But no one really seems to care...except you.

Have you heard of any of Clarke's three laws?
