Wow, thanks for the great information and welcomes! I checked out the forum you suggested desertgrandma and there was someone else with the same problem. Yes, GeoffC it isn't supposed to need a SD card but it seems to work better with one according to the reply. Anyway, will try the ideas given and hopefully will be happily reading soon. Thanks again.
