I am also very happy with my K2. I got it when they were about $300 and even knowing they are half the price now, I do not regret the money I spent. I have had a great year so far with my K2 and do not find the screen hard at all to read on, so the improvement is not a big motivator for me. I do see myself upgrading eventually, but not to the K3---I expect within two years, there will be a K4 with colour, so my thinking now is unless the Kindle breaks first, or some sort of game-changing new device comes out that has the features I find essential (I use both text to speech AND multilanguage dictionary support and only the Kindle supports both of these right now) then I will skip the K3 and get the K4.
