I just popped over to a thread on the KindleBoards: http://www.kindleboards.com/index.ph...c,35798.0.html

In frazzledglispa's thread he/she states about the K3 page turn slow down pretty much what I described a couple posts above.

frazzledglispa states:

Today I read outside in direct sunlight for the first time at about 230 in the afternoon, about 89 degrees and I noticed that the page turns were quite slow. Slow enough to make out words when the inverted color refresh was happening. After I came back inside I got distracted (work, you know) and checked the page turns and they were back to normal.
If that is what they are experiencing it seems to be the same thing I experienced and sounds like what Squirsier experienced. So once more I have to say this is really a non-issue for Kindles and Sonys. It is no more than a minor inconvenience that has been blown way out of proportion by this forum and other forums like the KindleBoards.
