Most of the books I read are written by men. Mainly because of the whole romance/sex issue. I don't care about the characters lovelifes. I definately don't want to read about them. I skip sex scenes and romantic interludes.
I'm not sure what this says about me, and frankly I don't give a damn.
Bottom line: most women can't write horror and they can't write noir.
