Think of it this way-- should you lose control and crown someone with your Kindle, you'll at least derive some solace from the fact that Amazon will be right there in the legal soup with you.
The device bears absolutely no label warning of the danger it poses as a weapon. And as any halfway accomplished ambulance-chaser will tell you, Amazon SHOULD KNOW that a Kindle can be used to brain someone.
