It supports nothing. The poll is fundamentally flawed in it's phrasing. Your three types of choices are "prefer to read by sex X", "see no sex bias", and "read primary by sex X"-- each of which do not mean the same thing. "Choose to read by sex X" is not the same as "read primarily by sex X"-- I read primary books by men, but it is not a "choice" but simply a reflection of what is being written in the genre(s) I read-- it doesn't reflect a preference.

(Never mind that all internet polls are fundamentally flawed to begin with.)
