Erm, the font hack required having custom firmware with modified adobe viewer file (without it, viewer does not look for a css file in internal memory).

PS
Regarding the touchscreen, afaik it's "infrared" i.e.: there is invisible IR beam/receiver grid over the screen, to interact with it, you have to put something opaque in the way. Hence pressure doesn't matter.
