Well, you're right, this time I won't be able to see much. Fortunately, I came two years ago for training. I had six weeks back then, so I got to know Beijing, Hong Kong and Canton. And still, coming this far, even without traveling inside China provides lots of experiences.
It is fascinating, and it's interesting to see how every city has such a different flavor of fascination.

My opinion is that they're doing a terrific job, no wonder they're growing so fast, but it will be nearly impossible for them to maintain the necessary balance. For example, they are allowed to have only one kid in every marriage, this must to be done to avoid overpopulation, and only a fierce government could ever manage to implement such a policy, but in a few years, they'll have to face a different problem: too many retired people, and not enough working force to support their pensions.
So, will they replace the USA as the world economical power? I'd say maybe, but not in the next 40 years (hey! I said 50 years last time!
