I'm used to reading on my nx70 and love the backlight for many reasons (not the least the fact that I can read while someone else is sleeping next to me  ).
But I'm also used to have the greatest difficulties to 'e-read' under even the lightest outside sunny day. And I'm curious to see what can be done with eink, as I've never had the chance to try any of this hardware.
My plan is to try and get an used PRS-500 from the US at as low a price as possible, for my first step in eink geekerie  Then, I'll know where to go from there

Yeah! I saw your posts at the flea market.
BTW The best featuree of an old eink is reading in the sunshine. Not as bright and blinding as paper and much clearer than any LCD.
