I think that with "liseuse" the French are trying to get back at English speakers for inflicting "le bulldozer", "le week-end" and "le (or la) job" on them.

I have nothing against French mind you. After all I live in the country that is home to the largest French speaking population that has never surrendered to the Germans. And for my own part I have a rudimentary knowledge obtained from reading cereal boxes as a child.

BTW phenomshel: Isn't Llounge where the Welsh hang out?
