With the rapidly rising rates of insurance, one emergency room visit due to an infected papercut could have paid for a new ereader. Therefore the better the screen looks the lower the chance of insurance costs going up.

Instead of losing money by selling your used books at a loss, you will SAVE money by NOT selling them (thus keeping them for full value). By upgrading the reader (or just adding a second) you effectively DOUBLE the value of all those books you can't sell!

When someone asks "What 'cha reading?" you can show them the latest political bestseller or treatise on current world economics and they'll never know that you just switched over from "Lady Rippers Hot Vampire Rendezvous, Part III". This means family reputation depends strongly on the speed of screen changes. I mean, please....does she want her friends to know what you REALLY read? I didn't think so.
