It seems to be a trilogy that people either love or hate. Personally I found that the story itself is good (only read the first book), the character of Lisbeth Salander is fascinating, but I think that he's a bad writer in a more technical sense. If the story hadn't been as good as it was, I would have put it down. The only way to find out whether you like it, is to try a sample.
