I have also seen corrupted metadata.db file (the local databases in every directory) that prevented scribbles/annotations from being added. SQLite2009Pro (free tool running under windows) can read most of the data, but also reports that the file is corrupted and does not allow any changes anymore. Is there an (open sourced) tool that can repair corrupted sqlite3 databases?
