Well, since he turns three in 5 days, I thought it would be about right. I'd really like to find one that's had a tubal ligation rather than simply being spayed. I checked around, and can't find any vets in our area that do it. I got the distinct feeling that the ones I asked thought it was an odd request. I don't think it's odd at all. A female with her tubes tied still goes into heat and enjoys sex (Norton would like that), but doesn't get pregnant (we'd like that).

Could be; that's the common wisdom, but I wonder what dogs think about it? Personally, I think they're just trying to get their rocks off, and they're not too picky about how they do it.
