I decided against it this time around since you can get a brand new K3 WiFi for $139. My credit card doubles Amazon's warranty so I already have 2 years for equipment failure - I'm just not covered for accidental damage.
If I were going to buy it I'd probably get the one via Square Trade. If you can dig up a discount code those usually run about $25, which is much cheaper than the one offered via Amazon.
