You don't sound all that excited about the Kindle so I don't know why you would buy one. I get the feeling that you would end up regretting the purchase.

I have read your list of cons for the Kindle. If those are things you feel strongly about then getting a K3 would be a bad idea. The good news is that you would have 30 days to return it and get a full refund if you buy it from Amazon.
