Just finished "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows and found it delightful. Probably a "chick lit" book, but I hadn't known anything about the German occupation of Guernsey and I found the historical side of the story fascinating.

Just started "The Vanishing Act of Esme Lennox" by Maggie O'Farrell. Can't remember where I saw it reviewed, but it looked really interesting. It's beautifully written and I'm finding it hard to put down, even when it's late, I'm tired and my eyes are burning from being too long on the computer all day.
